All-Purpose Curry Powder

This makes enough powder for multiple batches of curry. You'll have some leftover. You can use it to make curry butter as a substitute for garlic butter. You can can use it to season chicken. You can use it as taco seasoning. You can throw it in the air to make a sneezy cloud of dust. You'll have enough leftover to do it all!

1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp peppercorns
3 cloves
1 tsp cardamon seeds
1 cinnamon stick
1 tsp fennel
1 tsp fennugreek
2 tbls cumin seed
4 tbls coriander
1 tbls ginger
2 tbls turmeric

Toast everything (by popping it into your oven at 400) and then grind and mix it together. If you don't have a mortar and pastel, you should do fine by just mixing the spices you buy at the grocery store together. It's more fun to grind it, but you won't miss out on the flavor.
