Oh, and it takes 10 minutes. This is a winner.
1.5 lbs. broccoli
1/3 c. butter (or some substitute works fine!)
1 tbls. brown sugar
3 tbls. soy sauce
1/4 tsp pepper
2 cloves minced garlic
1/3 c cashews (or any nuttish thing)
Steam the green goop for 7 minutes.
All sliced and ready |
Meanwhile, melt the butter in a skillet, mix in the sugar, soy sauce, pepper and garlic.
Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and add cashews and broccoli. That's it! It's delicious. Really easy.
